What merchants praise

Great App. Great help from Tom in instashop. He helped with embedding the App when I was struggling. Very helpful. The app is amazing. Amazing all around.

What merchants complain about

This app was more concerned with trying to push an uprade on the customer. You will not be able to upload any pictures even using the hastag or product. This app deserves 0 stars for the tme you will waste trying to get it to work. This app should be a no go for your business. What makes it even worse the developers email you and try to play on sympathy about a bad rating instead of improving the app.

FAQ

InstaShop — frequently asked questions.

What is InstaShop on Shopify?
InstaShop, officially listed on the Shopify App Store as InstaShop: Shoppable Instagram, is a Shopify app in the Image gallery category. InstaShop embeds galleries of product pictures anywhere in your store. Galleries allow you to display ‘pins’ in the pictures. Pins link directly to your store’s product pages. Pictures are pulled from your Instagram account; connect your account and hand select the pictures you want to appear. You then add the pins. Each pin links to a product page: with the product and price displayed alongside the gallery. Choose from a range of gallery layouts and design options to fit your store. It averages 4.60 out of 5 across 14 merchant reviews on the Shopify App Store.
How much does InstaShop cost?
InstaShop offers a free plan and 2 paid plans starting at $12/month and going up to $20/month. The free plan includes Unlimited Product Pins, Unlimited Instagram accounts, #tags, NO watermarks, and Slider, Grid layout. Methodology

Where the numbers come from.

Ratings, review counts, pricing tiers, “Built for Shopify”, launch date, and category memberships come from the live Shopify App Store listing — refreshed daily by Ongoing.AI’s crawler. The review-count trajectory is the diff between today’s snapshot and snapshots from 7 and 28 days ago. Topic counts and sentiment come from the review corpus, topic-tagged with Claude. Install footprint is observed via Ongoing.AI’s tech-detection pass against actively-tracked Shopify storefronts. Catalog position is computed at snapshot time against every active app sharing the primary category. Snapshot generated .
