OngoingAI® is a continuously updated map of the ecommerce web: who sells online, on what platform, with which technology and apps — and what changed. It's built by Ongoing LLC in Irvine, California.
We've been building in the Shopify ecosystem since 2012. Before OngoingAI, we created Shopify apps used by more than 10,000 merchants, driving over $100M in directly attributable merchant revenue. A decade of that work kept surfacing the same question — which stores run what, and what did they just change? — and no dataset answered it well. So we built the dataset.

Every fact carries a date
The platform a store runs, the apps it has installed, the moment something changed — each comes from our own crawlers observing the public web, stamped with when we saw it. History accumulates as change events, so you can see what a store looked like last month, not just today.
Precision over recall
When we're not confident in a detection, we leave it out rather than guess. Counts on this site are floors, not estimates.
Known limits
We only see what a store exposes publicly. Headless builds and server-side integrations can hide technology from any outside observer — so a missing detection is not proof of absence.
Businesses, not people
The graph holds company- and store-level facts. We don't collect or sell personal contact data.
