What merchants praise
“This app has been just what we needed for our preorders! It was able to be installed on a custom pack page and it tags at the PRODUCT level and not just the order level so even with Shop Pay and Apple Pay the customers see the preorders on their order receipts. This was clutch for us! The developer helped us figure out some work around for some of the issues like locations and messages that they didn't have a function for. Overall I've been very happy with the turnaround and experience.”
What merchants complain about
“I thought that with this app I would solve my issue of over selling items on Pre-Order and at first it was doing that very well with the Order Limit feature. But then the app started Adding QTY's to my inventory without notice, warning or any notification. This is not very helpful when we are trying to manage many different thigns and now I have to manage how an app is making changes to my stores inveorty without notice. I have sent over an email to try and get thisresolved and hope that it can. Otherwise I will eb requesting for a full refund, and will be lower this to a 1 Star.”

Methodology
Where the numbers come from.
Ratings, review counts, pricing tiers, “Built for Shopify”, launch date, and category memberships come from the live Shopify App Store listing — refreshed daily by Ongoing.AI’s crawler. The review-count trajectory is the diff between today’s snapshot and snapshots from 7 and 28 days ago. Topic counts and sentiment come from the review corpus, topic-tagged with Claude. Install footprint is observed via Ongoing.AI’s tech-detection pass against actively-tracked Shopify storefronts. Catalog position is computed at snapshot time against every active app sharing the primary category. Snapshot generated .
