Organize articles into collections
Group articles by topic so customers can browse, in the order you choose.
Written by OngoingAIUpdated
Collections group your articles by topic, like Getting started, Billing or Your account. Your help center's home page lists them, so customers can browse instead of guessing what to search for.
Create a collection
- Go to Help center → Collections and create a new collection.
- Give it a name, a short description of what's inside, and an icon.
Add articles
Open an article and pick its collection in the editor. Each article belongs to one collection. Articles without one still show up in search, and at the bottom of your help center's home page.
Put them in order
Order your collections, and the articles inside each, the way a new customer would read them: the basics first. Your help center follows that order.
What customers see
- Only collections with at least one published article.
- Breadcrumbs on every article, back to its collection, and links to the other articles in it.
- If you delete a collection, its articles stay published, without a collection.
