Screenshots make steps easier to follow. Add them anywhere in an article.
Add an image
- Use the image button in the toolbar and choose a file,
- paste an image you've copied, like a screenshot, or
- drag an image file into the article.
PNG, JPEG, GIF and WebP images up to 10 MB work. Each image gets a permanent address, so it appears wherever the article does: your help center, the messenger, and your own website.
Describe it
Give each image a short description (alt text) when you add it. Screen readers read it aloud, and it shows if the image can't load.
Tips for good screenshots
- Crop to the part that matters.
- Capture at the size people will see it, not full-screen on a large monitor.
- Use test data. Leave out customer names and personal details.
